Targets and SWOT - Update 7th April

The past week I have found samples for the audio in my animation including the drum beat which I have changed to an approximate 4/4 beat and scientific sounds and narration which I will time and edit into the audio. I also stumbled across a technique which combines the tree growing and kaleidoscope technique and this looks impressive. Due to the time constraints and this newfound technique, I might remove certain parts of the animation in the future.

Targets

  • Write drafts for the majority of the blog posts, especially researching artists
  • Ensure that the soundtrack to the animation is timed correctly and exists in a basic form
Strengths

  • New techniques learned for the 3D animation can be replicated very easily
  • Basic soundtrack exists
Weaknesses
  • As I am not at college, several of my ideas I am unsure about and might not be created
  • Blog posts are minimal and fragmented
Opportunities
  • Being able to experiment in new software to help me progress in my knowledge of creating sound for animations and creating music
  • The chance to refine my kaleidoscope animations and rehearse past techniques
Threats
  • Without peer review, many of my animations may appear poorly done and I might have lost sight of the original goals for this project
  • Many of the aspects of the blog confuse me and this can definitely inhibit the time in which it takes to complete work
